Cupid-Inspired Sales and Gifties Don't Disappoint
Note: Sorry this is a bit late--this kitty had to take some time with her own Valentine. 😽
Normally, I'm not a big Valentine's Day type of girl. But this year, there was just so...much...awesome afoot, I had to set aside my love/hate relationship with the little winged guy.
For the hard-core shopper, many of the weekly sales and shopping events featured Valentines-related merch (see my post for the URL of the perpetual calendar of SL events). Besides this, the February Shop and Hop event had four sims of some of SL's best designers--most with free gifts and many with steep discounts.
Much to my glee and surprise, some shop owners surprised their group members and regular shoppers with Valentine's weekend store-wide sales. Amongst these were Seniha Originals (50% off storewide), Ricielli and Dhoma (70% off all pink or red lingerie and other items), Salt & Pepper (25L on all gacha machines with gacha fatpacks at 50% off). (I'm sure there were more that I'm not aware of.)
The Bearded Guy surprised his group members with, not one new group gift but two (The Hall of Love seen in the photos)--plus more love-related photo scenes for the weekly sales. 7 Deadly S[k]ins offered a gorgeous free skin as a gift to their members this Valentine's Day--as well as a hunt (far warning--the hunt is not for the squeamish. Izara flexed her hiding skills on this one!) Minimal treated group members to a 5-day advent-style calendar, full of Valentines-themed jewelry (missed days could be purchased for $50L.) And Glitzz went for a softer look with an adorable pink WokeUp set as a surprise gift for members.
With all these offerings, its all but impossible for a Diva-kitty to stay anti-Valentines! 😻
